Original oil painting on artist board by local artist David Ohlerking with wood frame. Measures approximately 22 inches wide x 18 inches tall. With hanging wire. Born in Omaha, Nebraska 1962, he attended college in Springfield, Missouri at Southwest Missouri State University, started the Austin Figurative Gallery/ Project with Chris Chappell in 2006, started the Doylestown Figurative Project in 2010. A student of Alex Kanevsky, he maintains a working collaboration with Ellen Bartel spankdance.com. Member of The Philadelphia Sketch Club, The Sussex County Arts and Heritage Council. Hunting Art Prize Finalist, 2009, Teacher for Artists4Israel, Member of the New Jersey Society of En Plein Air Painters, Did an album cover for these angsty Canadians Rural Alberta Advantage, Did an album back cover for Anthony D’Amato. paints the horses (and ponies) at the Somerset Hills Handicapped Riding Center Books: 2010, David Ohlerking Square Paintings, Blurb, 160 pages (color) 2005, Frank Kozik Panda Meat, Last Gasp, 112 pages (color)
